Terms of Service

Effective date: September 17, 2026 · Last updated: September 17, 2026

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of Dazento. By creating an account, accessing a workspace, or otherwise using Dazento, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

Dazento provides productivity and work-management features that may include tasks, projects, goals, time tracking, calendars, reports, collaboration, desktop activity tracking, and third-party integrations.

2. Accounts and security

You must provide accurate information, keep credentials secure, and promptly notify Dazento of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account to the extent permitted by applicable law.

3. Workspaces, owners, and members

Workspace owners and authorized administrators may invite members, assign tasks or projects, manage permissions, and control workspace settings. Users must only access information and features they are authorized to use.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use Dazento to violate law, infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights, access systems without authorization, interfere with the service, distribute malware, attempt to bypass security controls, or use the service in a deceptive, abusive, or fraudulent manner.

5. Desktop Agent

The Dazento Desktop Agent is optional. You may install or use it only on devices you own or are authorized to monitor. You are responsible for complying with workplace rules, notice and consent requirements, privacy laws, and other applicable obligations before monitoring another person’s activity.

6. Google Calendar integration

If you connect Google Calendar, you authorize Dazento to use the permissions you approve to create and update events for the synchronization features you request. You may disconnect the integration at any time. Use of Google data is also described in the Dazento Privacy Policy.

7. User content

You retain your rights in content you submit to Dazento. You grant Dazento a limited, non-exclusive right to host, process, transmit, display, and back up that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, and improve the service and provide features you request.

8. Third-party services

Dazento may depend on third-party services such as hosting, email delivery, databases, authentication providers, and Google services. Those services may be governed by their own terms and policies. Dazento is not responsible for independent third-party services outside Dazento’s control.

9. Availability, maintenance, and changes

Dazento may modify, add, remove, suspend, or discontinue features. Temporary interruptions may occur for maintenance, security, provider outages, upgrades, or events outside reasonable control. Dazento does not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

10. Fees

If paid plans or paid features are introduced, applicable pricing and billing terms will be presented before purchase. Unless stated otherwise, users remain responsible for applicable taxes and third-party charges.

11. Intellectual property

Dazento, its branding, software, design, and related materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except for rights expressly granted by these Terms, no ownership rights are transferred to users.

12. Suspension and termination

Dazento may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address security risks, unlawful activity, material violations of these Terms, abuse, non-payment of applicable fees, or legal requirements. Users may stop using Dazento at any time.

13. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Dazento is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Dazento does not warrant that the service will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every particular purpose.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Dazento and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, business opportunity, goodwill, or data arising from use of the service.

15. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for claims arising from your unlawful use of Dazento, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of another person’s rights.

16. Changes to these Terms

Dazento may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be published on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use after an update may constitute acceptance where permitted by law.

17. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are subject to applicable law. Any mandatory consumer or privacy rights available under applicable law remain unaffected. Where the parties are permitted to choose a forum, disputes should first be raised with Dazento support in an effort to resolve them informally.

18. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be sent to the support email displayed in the Dazento application or Google OAuth consent screen.
