Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Dazento collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the Dazento website, workspace features, desktop activity agent, and optional Google Calendar integration.

2. Google Calendar and Google user data
Dazento requests the Google Calendar permission necessary to create and update calendar events on behalf of a user who explicitly connects Google Calendar. Dazento uses this access to synchronize dated or timed Dazento tasks, projects, goals, and calendar items with Google Calendar.
Dazento does not use Google user data for advertising, ad targeting, credit decisions, data brokerage, or sale to third parties. Google user data is not used to train generalized AI or machine-learning models.
OAuth access and refresh tokens may be stored so the connection continues to work without asking you to reconnect for every synchronization. Dazento is designed to store those tokens in encrypted form on the application database. Calendar event mapping identifiers may also be stored to prevent duplicate events and support updates.
3. How Dazento uses information
- Provide account, workspace, task, project, goal, calendar, reporting, and collaboration features.
- Synchronize information with services you choose to connect, such as Google Calendar.
- Provide activity history when you voluntarily install the Dazento Desktop Agent.
- Maintain security, prevent abuse, diagnose errors, and improve reliability.
- Send transactional communications such as account verification, password reset, invitations, and requested reminders.
4. Data sharing
Dazento does not sell personal information. Information may be processed by infrastructure and service providers necessary to operate Dazento, such as hosting, database, email delivery, authentication, and Google Calendar services. Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect users or the service from abuse, or as part of a lawful business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.
5. Human access to Google user data
Dazento does not permit routine human reading of Google user data. Human access would be limited to situations where a user gives affirmative permission for support, where access is necessary for security or abuse investigation, where required by law, or where data has been aggregated and de-identified for legitimate internal operations.
6. Data retention and deletion
Dazento retains information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Users may disconnect Google Calendar at any time from Dazento. Users may also revoke Dazento’s Google access through their Google Account permissions.
Account or data deletion requests may be submitted through the support contact shown in the Dazento application or Google OAuth consent screen. When a valid deletion request is completed, associated personal data will be deleted or de-identified unless retention is required by law or necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legitimate backup retention.
7. Desktop Agent
The Dazento Desktop Agent is optional. It should only be installed on a device the user is authorized to monitor. When enabled, it may send the desktop activity data described above to Dazento. Users can stop, disconnect, or uninstall the agent to stop future collection from that device.
8. Security
Dazento uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect information. These may include encrypted transport, authenticated sessions, access controls, encrypted storage of sensitive integration credentials, logging, and database protections. No system can guarantee absolute security.
9. Cookies and sessions
Dazento may use cookies or similar browser storage required for secure sign-in, session continuity, preferences, and essential application functionality. Dazento does not use Google Calendar data for behavioral advertising.
10. International processing
Dazento may use service providers in different countries. Where information is processed outside a user’s country, Dazento relies on the safeguards available through its service providers and applicable law.
11. Children
Dazento is not directed to children below the minimum age required by applicable law to independently consent to use an online service. If you believe information was provided in violation of applicable age requirements, contact Dazento so the matter can be reviewed.
12. Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, users may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of personal information, or to object to certain processing. Requests can be made through the support contact shown in Dazento.
13. Changes to this policy
Dazento may update this Privacy Policy as the service changes. Material updates will be reflected by changing the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, by providing additional notice.
